Bookkeeping
$110/hr
When it comes to monthly tracking within your accounting system, we can be involved as much or as little as you need. This can range from checking and reconciling the work you do in your own accounting system to hosting an accounting system on your behalf and fulfilling all entry and reconciliation requirements.
We can work entirely remotely and have cloud based server options as well. If you’re not sure where to start, set up a preliminary meeting and we can discuss all the available options to help you decide what best suits your needs.
Payroll
$150/hr
Running a business can be hard, especially when you are responsible for employees. We’ll work with you to make your payroll process timely, accurate, and efficient. We can furnish your entire payroll system, including quarterly payroll tax filings and payments, or help facilitate whatever you use for your company and create adjusting entries to get payroll into your accounting. We’ll help you make paying your employees, contractors, and yourself easy!
Tax Prep
Priced Per Form
We can help you with all your tax prep needs. Simone is a licensed LTC and can prepare your taxes through Gemini Accounting.
We charge for tax prep based on the forms you need filed. Below are some examples of pricing for common forms, but please reach out for all tax prep related inquiries and we can give you a more accurate price range depending on your individual needs.

Currently our accounting services start at $110/hr. The cost is dependent on what type of work you are in need of on a monthly basis.

It really depends on the type of support you’re looking for. We can be as hands on or as low touch as you need us to be! Our best advice would be to set up a brief intake meeting to assess what breadth of service will best suit you and your business needs!

We are not CPAs. While the license does allow us to to prepare taxes, we are not interested in doing corporate accounting as our specialties and passions lie in helping small businesses grow their financial success.

Congratulations! This is a great first step in pursuing your business dreams. This allows you an extra layer of protection by the state, and puts your business on a searchable list of businesses in the state you are registered in. It does not, however, change your taxing entity on a federal level. You are still a pass through entity that files a schedule C on your personal tax return.

A lot of folks are curious about S Corps, and there is a lot of information floating around. S Corp status can be advantageous for your business, but being able to furnish all the required actions per the IRS is an important stipulation. If you are considering electing S Corp, there are some things that need to be in order before you can begin that process. Feel free to set up an appointment to chat with us if this is something you’re curious about.

Going on extension means that you have an extension of time to file your tax return with the IRS and whatever states you need to file in, but it does not give you an extension of time to pay. IF you have not made any quarterly estimated payments, you may want to make an estimated payment at the time you file your extension. If no estimated payments are made, there will be a late payment penalty (not egregious, but still annoying).
If you are a current client, please contact us to file an extension on your behalf. If you are a new or potential client, you can use the link provided on our website to file your extension!

Need more time to file your taxes? Apply online with the IRS for a 6 month extension. Remember, you’ll still need to pay any taxes you owe for the year.

Filed your taxes and are wondering when you’ll receive your refund? You can find out if your refund has been processed via the IRS refund tool.
Online Tax Payments
Do you need to make a quarterly payment or owe taxes this year? Make a payment directly to the IRS and Oregon State.

Can’t pay the taxes owed? Apply for a payment plan from either the IRS, Oregon State, or both.
Starting Your Business
Business Registration
Ready to start your small business? You’ll have to register your business with the Oregon Business Registry first.
EIN Application
In order to file taxes for your business, you will need to apply for an Employer Identification Number with the IRS.
